The spicy mixture and fragrance are based on traditional Indian incense, which incorporates the use of honey and a resin called Halmaddi as its base. The carefully chosen resin gives this incense its signature full, sweet scent and makes the sticks soft to the touch. This age-old masala method of making incense avoids the use of chemicals, and creates a light, clean burning incense that creates a minimum of smoke and slowly spreads a gentle aroma.
