Description

Calcite Engraved Pendulum

The symbol engraved on this pendulum is called a pentacle. The pentacle is a talisman of many purposes. In modern times, it is most often associated with Neo-Pagan religions, especially Wicca. In these traditions, the five points often represent the five elements of air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. But this symbol has already been in use for thousands of years. In ancient times, it was featured in tombs and seals of Egypt and Mesopotamia and coins of Greece. For example, the Ancient Greeks may have used it as a symbol to ward off evil.

Orange calcite is a widely available stone that can help with emotional healing and promote open-mindedness and optimism. It helps to inspire energy, creativity, and spiritual growth. This is especially helpful for those on a spiritual journey, people in distress, or those lacking motivation and inspiration.

Pendulums are powerful tools that can help with energy healing, meditation, divination, and dowsing. They can be used for things as simple as making decisions, answering questions, and cleansing negative energy. We all possess the inherent power of intuition, but pendulums are valuable tools that help us tap into that to find the answers we already have within us.

Where do I begin?

  1. When choosing your pendulum, it’s important to ask for advice or use your intuition to pick one. Never be distracted by how pretty it is, but instead, focus on which one draws you in or grabs your attention first.
  2. When you have chosen your piece, cleanse the pendulum with sage, palo santo, rosemary, incense, sound, or whatever means you are comfortable with.
  3. Do a grounding and protection exercise before you start.
  4. Draw a circle and draw two perpendicular lines through the middle, like a lowercase “T.”. Place the pointed part of the pendulum in the middle of the cross and slowly lift up from the page.
  5. Ask your pendulum for a “yes.” Watch its movement and take note. Ask it 10 questions you know that should get a “yes” answer to confirm. When you are comfortable with your “yes” movement, ask for a “no” and repeat the process.
  6. When you are happy with your “yes’s” and “no’s,” give gratitude to the pendulum. If the pendulum does not respond accordingly or consistently, you may need to try another pendulum or consider that your energy might be blocked. Try visualizing a lotus flower opening in your hands with rainbow colours, as that is a great way to open your chakra flow. If the pendulum does not move, you might not be grounded or protected properly, or perhaps you are too tired, distracted, sick, or otherwise. A happy pendulum starts with a happy user, so take care of yourself.
  7. Consider keeping your pendulum to yourself, as sharing with others may invite their energy onto it. This may cause inconsistency and confusion in the pendulum’s answers.
  8. Cleanse and charge your pendulum regularly. Mind it. Practice with it as much as you can and always for your highest good.
