Pyrite or Iron Pyrites is Iron Sulphide also known to many as Fools Gold. In renaissance times hundreds of tons of Pyrite were shipped from the new world in the mistaken belief that it was actually Gold. Ironically, small quantities of actual gold are sometimes found in pyrite. Pyrite is helpful for those having trouble with will-power, anxiety,or commitment. Pyrite strengthens mental abilities and awareness of higher forms of knowledge. Pyrite can help one to overcome shyness, bringing a greater feeling of assertiveness, without becoming a bully.
Healing properties: emotional wounds, love, self-love, reduces tensions, increases self-confidence, and promotes a sense of inner peace.
